About Okkei
僕は2024年1月にInstagramでOkkei Japaneseを始めました。
そのあとYouTubeとPodcastも始めて、たくさんの方に日本語学習の役に立っていると言ってもらえて、とても嬉しかったです。
言葉の勉強も、動画づくりも、ポッドキャストも大好きです。
僕自身、大学生の頃から英語の勉強のためにポッドキャストを聴いてきました。
リスニングには「自然な日本語」と「自分が楽しいと思えるコンテンツ」を聴くのが一番だと感じています。
そして、このウェブサイトも作りました。もっとみなさんと繋がって、役に立つコンテンツを届けたいと思ったからです。
これからも楽しく学べる日本語の動画やポッドキャストをたくさん作っていきます！
I started Okkei Japanese on Instagram in January 2024.
After that, I also started YouTube and a podcast. I am really happy to hear that my content has been helping people learn Japanese.
I love language learning, making videos, and creating podcasts.
Personally, I have been listening to podcasts since college to study English.
For listening practice, I believe it is most important to listen to natural Japanese while enjoying the content.
I also made this website because I wanted to connect with you more and share useful materials for learning.
I will keep creating fun and helpful Japanese videos and podcasts. I hope you enjoy them!
Membership
There are three tiers,
松 = Pine
竹 = Bamboo
梅 = Plum
In Japan, 松竹梅 (Matsu, Take, Ume) is a traditional way to show three levels of options in a friendly way.
For example, at an unagi (eel) restaurant:
- 松 (Matsu) is the premium option with the best quality or extra portions
- 竹 (Take) is the standard set with a good balance of price and quality
- 梅 (Ume) is the simplest option, affordable but still tasty
You also see 松竹梅 at sushi restaurants, hot springs, and gift boxes.
All options sound nice, even 梅, which simply means simple and good.
